This Rolex GMT-Master comes from the family of the original purchaser and owner: Augustine Escudero. Mr. Escudero, purchased this timepiece September 19th, 1963 at the Army/Airforce exchange in Germany while stationed there for a period during the Vietnam War. A career military man, whose military combat career included serving under General Patton's regiment in War World II. "Auggie", as he was affectionately known, re-enlisted in Vietnam where he was awarded the "Air Medal" by General Westmoreland (pictured), while wearing his beloved GMT-Master, which served him well during this period of combat.

The caseback engraving: Augustine Escudero 33052985. The first two numbers, 33, signifying his geographical area of Maryland, Pennsylvania, Virginia and the District of Columbia, and following digits were his personal identifiers.
He was born on 8/28/1916 and his burial service was at sea on the USS Normandy on 7/30/2006.

This timepiece is accompanied by the original outer box, Certificate/guarantee, COSC document, instruction book, GMT Master promotional card, Rolex certify document. A copy of the pictured photograph will also be provided by request.

Condition: Case is in good condition with signs of use, and service polishing. Case back is engraved "A. Escudero, 33052985" military ID. Rolex service dial is in excellent condition as are the hands. Original bezel has aged to a "Fuchsia, and blueberry" tone. Oyster bracelet shows original wear, and slight stretch. Movement runs and operates as it should. Service is recommended
