Rolex, Ref: 6239, "Paul Newman" Cosmograph Daytona, Circa 1969
Case: 38 mm, stainless steel, three body, screw down case back, tachymeter graduation on the bezel to 200 units per hour, screw down crown, round push buttons, No. #1958339
Dial: White, black subsidiary dials for the seconds, thirty minute and twelve hour registers, steel baton hands, outermost red 1/5th seconds scale, steel indexes with luminous dots.
Movement: caliber 722-1, rhodium finish, 17 jewels, adjusted to three positions, straight line lever escapement, monometallic balance, shock absorber, self-compensating Breguet balance spring

Condition: Case is in very good original condition with normal signs of wear. Polished tachymeter bezel is excellent condition. Original dial is superb, with all Lume dots intact and ageing consistant with the luminous hands. Movement runs, and functions properly. Service is highly recommended due to unkown service history and time stored.
