    Movement: 26 jewels, automatic, adjusted to five positions and temperature, caliber 1580, rhodium finish, straight line lever, monometallic balance with Microstella timing screws, white alloy self compensating balance spring
    Band: stainless steel, style 78360, deployant clasp

    Note: Rolex introduced the Milgauss model in the early 1950's with the reference 6541. The model was designed to protect against high electro-magnetic radiation for clients working in research laboratories and electro-engineering environments. The name comes from the Greek "Mil" for thousand, and "Gauss" which is the unit for measuring magnetism. Standard watches can only withstand 70 to 90 Gauss whereas the Milgauss model is protected in magnetic environments up to 1,000 Gauss.
