Rolex Submariner Ref. 16610 is perhaps one of the most common Submariner models available on the market today. However, this is not your common Ref. 16610. One of the very few Rolex authorized Limited Editions to come to market; this Panama Canal Submariner was only made in a series of just 75 individually numbered pieces commemorating the transfer of the Panama Canal from the US to the Republic of Panama. Not only did the limited production number make this timepiece nearly impossible to acquire when new, difficulties went further as the watch was only available to purchase from Rolex A.D's based in Panama. This particular Lot, numbered 19/75, is fresh to market from the original owner in unworn condition, and presented with every receipt, documentation, packaging and accessory provided when new.
