    Dial: matte black, with raised outer bi-directional elapsed-time scale, outer minute track, luminous baton markers, seconds, 12-hour, 24-hour registers, and day/date apertures; luminous baton and syringe hour/minute hands, white and orange baton and luminous arrow register hands, and orange chrono hands, one with airplane motif for minutes and one for seconds

    Sinn's Model 142 is among the first automatic chronographs worn in space, including on the Spacelab D1 and D2 missions, and on Space Station Mir, in the 1980s and 1990s. This earlier example predates inscribed-back versions, and is accompanied by its inner and outer boxes, extra day wheel, instructions, and online-sourced background information.

    Condition: Very good dial, with intact luminous paint and faint wear mark on 12-hour register; luminous on hands appears to be refreshed. Good case, with sharp details, crisp back, and signs of daily wear. Running, with all functions working, but service is recommended.
