    Tissot "Seastar" Chronograph, circa 1960's
    Case: gold plated top, stainless steel screw back, 41 mm x 35 mm, round push buttons
    Dial: matte black, applied golden baton indexes, red outermost telemeter calibrations, red center seconds, luminous gold baton hands, sub dials for the seconds, thirty minute and twelve hour registers
    Movement: Lemania caliber 1281, rhodium finish, straight line lever, 17 jewels, monometallic balance, shock absorber
    Band: snakeskin
    Signed: triple signed Tissot

    Note: The movement in this watch is the Lemania cal. 1281 which was produced at a time when movements and case parts were shared between Omega, Tissot and Lemania. The movements were all produced by Lemania and re-branded for Tissot as the caliber 871. The Lemania caliber 1281 also served as the base for the caliber 1871 which was used in the Omega Speedmaster Professional "Moon Watch" series.
