Universal Geneve Rare & Very Fine Ref. 881101/03 Steel Tri-Compax, circa 1960'sCase: No. 2684740, stainless steel, three body, curved lugs, screw down back, fixed bezel, 36 mm, rounded pushers
Dial: rare slate colored dial, raised outer white ring with blue 1/5th second divisions, guilloche white sub dials for the seconds, thirty minute and twelve hour registers, applied luminous steel indexes, apertures with red lettering for the months and days of the week, date dial and aperture for the moon phases at twelve, luminous white tapered baton hands, red center sweep hand
Movement: caliber 281, rhodium finish, 17 jewels, manual winding, straight line lever escapement, monometallic balance, shock absorber
Band: original stainless steel 10-70 Universal Geneve brand with deployant clasp

Note: This highly sought-after vintage timepiece is fresh to the collectors market. The extremely well preserved "exotic" slate dial, the classic case with very fine black tachymetre bezel, the caliber 281 movement, and the original bracelet make this a "must have" for the serious "Tri-Compax" aficionado.
