The case is presented in excellent condition with very little signs of wear on the outside coin edge band and guilloche finished case back. Wear is visibly seen on the cuvette, particularly in the form of scratches around the setting and winding apertures from the careless use of a key at some stage in its 160 years of existence . The VC signed enamel dial is in excellent condition with no visible cracks or missing pieces that normally plague timepieces of this era. The movement is in excellent condition, with little to no signs of obvious wear evident. Movement is running and setting as it should.
