Description
Wittnauer Fine Stainless Chronograph Valjoux 72 Wristwatch. Ref: 6002/5 Circa 1960Case: 36mm, stainless steel, two piece case/screw back, #235T
Dial: original satin silver dial with black and blue tracks and red accents. Luminous numbers. , with luminous stake hands
Movement: Wittnauer caliber 13W, 17 jewel manual wind movement base Valjoux 72.
Band: new generic leather strap with lizard imprint and generic stainless buckle

Condition: The watch is in very good condition with tiny surface scratches and dings commensurate with age. No dings or scratches of note. Excellent original dial with just a bit of discoloration at the right edge. Nice patina to hands. Replacement crown stamped: Heuer. Currently the watch sets, runs and the chrono functions operate correctly but the service history is unknown and a fresh service is recommended for accurate timekeeping and reliability.
