Dial: blue sunburst, with raised outer tachymetre scale, outer minute track with quarter-hour luminous dots, white luminous baton markers, guilloche seconds, 30-minute, and 12-hour registers, and date aperture; skeletonized stainless hour/minute hands with luminous inserts and "Mercedes" hour hand, and stainless baton register and chrono hands
Movement: Valjoux caliber 7750 automatic, 17 jewels, Swiss lever, with chronograph, quickset date, and hacking seconds functions, and rhodium finish
Band: stainless steel bracelet, 16 links, approximately 6 3/4 inches maximum length, including watch but not fold-out expansion links, signed Zodiac on deployment clasp

Named for the red dot between the four and five, this timepiece is part of the Red, Silver, and Gold Point series Zodiac marketed during the 1990s. Red point Zodiacs offer the sportiest, most classic design, and are highly collectible today. This example was fitted with the optional "Mercedes" hands, and is accompanied by its inner box, instruction and service booklets, hang tag, 12/2007 sales receipt, and extra, non-chronograph black dial.

Condition: Excellent dial. Good case, with clean, unmolested back, showing light surface scratches on bezel and other signs of daily wear. Good bracelet, with moderate stretch and surface scratches. Running, with all functions working, but service is recommended.
